Christmas in Chesham 30th November 2012

The Chesham Chamber of Trade and Commerce is pleased to announce the planning process for Christmas in Chesham 2012 is well under way.

Christmas in Chesham in 2012 will be a celebration of art and culture as well as providing an opportunity for retailers to showcase their Christmas promotions and for charity stalls to raise money for good causes. Chesham Grammar School and Chesham Park Community College intend to provide live street theatre and music - the Chamber of Commerce has also invited a number of musical and theatrical groups to perform on the night.

We have invited the carousel as the centre piece of the event and with it a restricted number of smaller rides for the younger children. For the grownups we will have the charity stalls and a Christmas market which we would like to you to take part in. The Christmas lights will be switched on and there will be a procession to include the pantomime cast of characters, which will be fun for all the family. The street theatre and street music events will also include performances by a number of local schools and children (and adults) of all ages.
